Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ development as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This role is located near Washoe Valley, NV and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference across elementary and secondary school settings during the 2025-2026 academic year.

You’ll work full time (37.5 hours per week), supporting a caseload of approximately 50-55 students at 1-2 locations within the district. Deliver essential OT services through engaging therapy, assessments, and evaluations, helping students thrive both academically and personally. As part of a caring educational community, you’ll collaborate with educators and staff, participate in team meetings, and have the resources you need for effective practice—including a dedicated therapy space.

Key Qualifications:

  • NV Occupational Therapist license (required)
  • Experience in school-based OT preferred
  • Understanding of K-12 student needs, IEPs, and therapy documentation
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel between assigned school sites as needed
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy and conduct student assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with the student’s team
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation following district guidelines
  • Actively participate in meetings and contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment
  • Employ a variety of strategies for both elementary and secondary students
  • Adapt to caseload needs and district initiatives as directed
