Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active and valid Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy practice
  • Solid understanding of pediatric and adolescent OT assessments, interventions, and documentation requirements
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload working in-person at school sites
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Reliable and flexible approach to working in diverse school environments
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of students referred for occupational therapy services
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support educational access and participation
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEP goals and state guidelines
  • Document services and maintain compliance with all professional and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing OT expertise to multidisciplinary teams
