Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license (MS state or eligible for reciprocity)
  • Previous experience in school-based OT preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds also considered
  • Proficient in developing and implementing IEP goals for diverse student populations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and related service teams
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Passion for fostering independence and success in students of all abilities
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ needs and deliver individualized occupational therapy services
  • Write and update IEP documentation; contribute as a member of IEP teams
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to facilitate access to curriculum and implement accommodations/modifications
  • Maintain accurate records and provide progress reports as required
  • Support students’ participation in classroom activities, self-care, and social-emotional development
  • Engage in professional development opportunities and remain current on best practices in school-based OT
