Step into an engaging contract opportunity delivering occupational therapy services in a dynamic school environment. This onsite position offers the unique chance to work just 7.5 hours each week, providing dedicated support across a varied caseload that spans early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students. Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and current Illinois Occupational Therapy (OT) License
  • Previous practice or fieldwork in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based OT documentation
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to support different age groups as needed
  • Any additional district/state requirements as applicable
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to determine strengths, needs, and appropriate intervention strategies
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to support student access to curriculum
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights for goal-setting and accommodations
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation according to school and state requirements
  • Educate and empower school staff and families on strategies to support students’ functional skills
