You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other allied health professionals to deliver vital occupational therapy services in a school setting, targeting the unique developmental needs of early childhood students. You'll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with full-time hours, giving you the chance to build strong relationships and see the progress of your students from now through the end of May 2027.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Illinois Occupational Therapist License
  • Previous experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with early childhood populations

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain thorough documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff
  • Adapt therapy strategies to fit classroom routines and school environments
  • Track student progress and adjust interventions for optimal growth
