Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials to practice.

Experience providing therapy in a school-based environment preferred.

Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting.

Proficiency in direct therapy, consultation, and collaboration with teachers and families.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students of diverse backgrounds.

Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy treatment and interventions to students as outlined in their IEPs.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expert input on student assessments, accommodations, and progress reports.

Develop individualized and group therapy activities targeting motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive functioning.

Collaborate with educators and family members to support students’ educational progress and integration.

Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation.

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy.
