Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
  • Background in delivering OT services in schools, particularly with K-12 populations
  • Proficiency in fine motor skills support, visual motor integration, sensory integration, and sensory processing techniques
  • Experience conducting thorough evaluations and writing individualized goals
  • Familiarity with school-based documentation, including participation in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
  • Strong skills in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and develop intervention plans
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services targeting fine motor, sensory, and visual motor challenges
  • Engage in regular progress monitoring, data collection, and timely documentation to support student advancement
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure integrated and holistic support
  • Develop and write treatment goals tailored to each student and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with educational staff to adapt learning environments and classroom strategies
  • Promote student independence, engagement, and success within the school environment
