Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Prior experience working in a K-12 school environment highly desired
  • Strong understanding of pediatric OT assessments and interventions
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of students across a range of grade levels
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students onsite in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student growth and progress
  • Document all services, progress, and consultative activities in a timely manner
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings as required within the school setting
  • Provide recommendations, strategies, and assistive tools to enhance student access to learning environments
