What You’ll Contribute:

  • Deliver evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing occupational therapy services to students, adapting techniques for individual educational needs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation to track student progress and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to develop and review student IEPs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators and families to promote skills for classroom participation and daily school activities.
  • Monitor caseload and provide services according to established schedules.
  • Exhibit professionalism and empathy while supporting students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive skill development.
  • Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Maryland OT License required.
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, with strong knowledge of IEP processes and school-based therapy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage full-time hours across the school calendar year (start August 10, 2026, concludes June 17, 2027).
