Take your expertise in occupational therapy to the next level by supporting students as a contracted occupational therapist in the vibrant Denver area. This full-time, onsite position provides essential leave coverage within a school-based environment, working with a diverse student population from kindergarten through high school.

You will be instrumental in helping learners achieve their highest potential, partnering with staff, families, and other professionals to deliver top-quality therapy services. The assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through October 9, 2026, ensuring stability and a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Caseload details and number of assigned schools will be confirmed closer to your start date, with opportunities to gain experience across various educational settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Colorado DOE Certification as an Occupational Therapist (serving ages birth through 21)
  • Demonstrated experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to adapt services to a variety of age groups within the K-12 range
  • Commitment to timely credentialing, including completion of a background check after offer acceptance
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students in K-12 settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to address students’ unique needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reporting
  • Develop and oversee personalized therapy plans to foster academic and developmental success
