Make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ growth and development throughout the entire school year as an onsite Occupational Therapist. In this dynamic contract position, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated special education team, focusing on students within low-incidence classrooms, including life skills and autism support, for grades served at WGS. With a manageable caseload of approximately 36–40 students, you’ll be able to deliver individualized interventions while partnering with educators and families to help every student reach their potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current OT license valid in the state
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
  • Understanding of the unique needs of low-incidence and special education student populations
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
  • Adaptable and organized approach to caseload management
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in life skills and autism classrooms (around 36–40 students total)
  • Develop, implement, and track IEP goals for each student
  • Conduct assessments and evaluate student progress
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to optimize outcomes
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and compliance with state and district requirements
  • Engage in professional development as needed
