Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
  • Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and interventions
  • Ability to conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication skills, both with students and interdisciplinary teams
  • Organized, flexible, and able to manage a dynamic caseload
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and guidance
  • Adapt strategies to suit diverse student abilities and learning environments
