Enjoy a flexible schedule, with onsite services required just one day per week—the school is happy to accommodate your preferred day. You’ll partner with staff at a single location, serving approximately 11 students with a balanced mix of direct therapy (4 hours) and time for indirect paperwork and documentation.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Hold current Occupational Therapy licensure for Maine (Maine OT certification required)
  • Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to assess and address students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional needs
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach to partnering with educators and families
  • Committed to compliance, documentation, and providing high-quality services to meet students’ IEP goals
  • In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering individualized occupational therapy for students with diverse needs
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation according to school and legal guidelines
  • Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Offering recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive strategies
  • Ensuring therapy aligns with best practices and current school policies
  • The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 11, 2027.
