Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active OT license in Virginia (or eligibility for reciprocal licensure)
  • Prior experience or strong interest working with school-aged students
  • Familiarity or willingness to work with an autism caseload
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Develop and adapt individualized interventions focused on students with autism
  • Track progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers and support staff to create inclusive classroom environments
  • Educate families on strategies to foster students’ independence and participation
