Position Highlights
Location: San Jose, CA
Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Setting: Elementary school
Caseload: Elementary students
Schedule: Full-time
Start: ASAP
Pay: $38–$45/hour, based on experience and caseload
Current 2026–2027 school year
Support students with a variety of occupational therapy needs
Collaborate with OTs, teachers, special education staff, and other school professionals
ProCare support throughout the hiring and onboarding process
California COTA Requirements
Candidates must have:
Active California COTA license through the California Board of Occupational Therapy
Completion of an approved occupational therapy assistant education program
Required fieldwork experience
Successful completion of the NBCOT COTA examination
Ability to meet all California licensing requirements
