Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct occupational therapy services to students as guided by the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Traveling between sites as part of an itinerant team to meet student needs across multiple schools
  • Engaging in careful documentation, including detailed report-writing, progress monitoring, and data management
  • Collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary specialists to promote student achievement and independence
  • Adhering to best practices and regulatory standards while tailoring interventions to individual student goals
  • Supporting the OT team in evaluation activities, IEP meetings, planning, and delivering adaptable strategies for student success
  • Desired experience and qualifications:

  • Valid NM COTA License (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start)
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
