This position is based on-site at two schools, working with children from kindergarten through 8th grade. You’ll find a diverse caseload, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, and Down syndrome, providing both direct and evaluation services tailored to meet their unique needs.

With a steady weekly schedule of 32.5 hours, you’ll be part of a collaborative school environment while enjoying consistent hours and a manageable caseload. As a valued part of the team, you’ll implement therapy plans, document progress, and engage with students, teachers, and families to foster the best outcomes for each learner. Please note, there are no supervision duties required for this position.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant state license (AZ license required)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-age children with disabilities such as Autism, developmental delays, and Down syndrome
  • Ability to adapt therapy practices for diverse student needs
  • Understanding of school-based service delivery and evaluation processes
  • Background check and fingerprint clearance, as required by the state and district
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite occupational therapy services for K-8 students
  • Conduct evaluations to support individualized education plans
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate therapy records and communicate student progress
  • Participate in team meetings as needed
