Step into an exciting opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) making a difference across multiple school settings in the Cambridge, MA area. With a flexible 0.8 FTE schedule from Monday to Thursday, your working hours will adapt based on each campus, with the earliest start at 7:30 AM and latest finish at 3:30 PM. Orientation begins August 27th, and school resumes for students on September 2nd.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as a COTA and eligible for licensure in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to adjust quickly to varied school environments and student needs
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Skilled in implementing therapy plans developed by an Occupational Therapist
  • Commitment to supporting students’ academic and functional growth
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Support students with diverse needs in classroom and group settings
  • Assist in executing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative planning
