Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
  • Current COTA license in Maryland is a must
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in group and individual settings
  • Support implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assist with progress monitoring, data collection, and reporting
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to promote student independence and participation
  • Contribute creative and evidence-based strategies to enhance students’ educational experience
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
