Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting elementary-aged students throughout the East Bay. This opportunity is tailored for a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) ready to make a meaningful impact in educational settings. The assignment begins in August and continues through June, offering consistent hours and the chance to work alongside a dedicated school-based therapy team.

In this full-time school-based position, you will:

Qualifications & Experience

Hold an active COTA license in California

Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating effectively with teachers, families, and fellow therapists

Ability to travel between campuses as needed

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with occupational therapists to implement IEP goals and therapeutic activities for elementary students

Support development of fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills within classroom and group settings

Collect data and document student progress

Assist in adapting classroom materials or environments to foster greater participation and access

Collaborate with educators and families to promote carryover and consistency

Pay & Assignment Details

Competitive compensation, with pay ranging from $35 to $45 per hour

40 hours per week, across 5 days

Caseload consists of elementary-aged students; group size to be determined

Service provided across multiple campuses in the East Bay region
