Step into an impactful role supporting young learners’ development in an elementary school environment. This full-time contract position is ideal for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a passion for supporting students’ growth—both academically and functionally—within a collaborative school-based team. The assignment spans the full academic year, beginning August 13, 2026, and concluding June 9, 2027. You’ll be working onsite at an elementary school, providing essential occupational therapy services to a dynamic student caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in California
  • Demonstrated experience providing occupational therapy within a school setting
  • Availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, through the school year
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and team members
  • Ready for an onsite position
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to elementary students, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school requirements
  • Support students’ development in key areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive functioning
  • Engage in regular team meetings and contribute to holistic student support plans
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for all learners
