As a valued member of the educational team, you will collaborate with occupational therapists and school staff to deliver meaningful interventions and adapt learning environments for student success. With an assignment beginning in January 2027 and extending through June 2027, you’ll provide consistent, full-time support across 35 hours each week over five days.

Qualifications:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license (COTA) in Massachusetts (COTA MA)
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is preferred
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive learning environments
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Support occupational therapists in delivering tailored interventions for K-5 students
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and documentation procedures
  • Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Facilitate sensory, motor, and self-help skill development through group and one-on-one sessions
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families for coordinated care
