Qualifications:

  • Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience in a school setting highly desired
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with therapists, teachers, and families
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and age groups
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Implement IEP-mandated therapy sessions for students with varying needs
  • Document progress and maintain confidential student records
  • Participate in IEP and team meetings as needed
  • Facilitate adaptive activities to promote student independence in school routines
  • Travel between multiple campuses within the Bethlehem area as assigned
