Position Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based opportunity in Schertz, TX. This position will support students across K–12th grade and provide speech and language services as part of a collaborative school-based team.

The SLPA will work with a caseload of approximately 40–45 students, with responsibilities based on students' individual needs and service requirements.

The school is actively interviewing candidates today and tomorrow, so interested SLPAs are encouraged to apply or reach out as soon as possible!

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Work with K–12 students based on individual student needs and IEP goals
  • Implement therapy activities and interventions established by the supervising SLP
  • Support students in improving communication, articulation, language, and other speech-related skills
  • Track and document student progress and therapy services
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other members of the educational team
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow school and district procedures
  • Support students in meeting their individualized speech and language goals
  • Caseload & Schedule

  • K–12th grade
  • Approximately 40–45 students
  • 5 days per week
  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Start ASAP through May 27, 2027
  • Qualifications

  • Active Texas SLPA License required
  • Ability to provide SLPA services within a school-based environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred
