Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for an opportunity where your clinical expertise directly impacts student success? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated OT to join a collaborative school-based team serving students throughout the Oakland area.

Compensation$40-55+ Per Hour
Compensation is based on experience, credentials, assignment details, and specialized expertise.

Position Responsibilities
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct and consultative OT services to students
Address fine motor development, sensory processing, visual-motor skills, self-care, and classroom participation
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals
Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and classroom strategies
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
California Occupational Therapist Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess:
Master's Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active California Occupational Therapist License
Current NBCOT certification
Ability to meet district and state background clearance requirements
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Pediatric or school-based OT experience
Experience working with students receiving special education services
Knowledge of IEP processes and educational environments
Familiarity with sensory integration, assistive technology, and adaptive equipment
Strong organization and documentation skills
