Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Current or eligible Occupational Therapy (OT) license
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEPs, goal setting, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A collaborative approach to working with teachers and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive OT services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, write thorough reports, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate effectively with educators, counselors, and parents to support student accommodations and modifications
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Provide both direct therapy and consultative support to teachers and staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight to create supportive learning environments
