This role provides full district support, serving a diverse caseload and making an impactful difference in students’ lives from now through January 2027, with potential for extension. Enjoy a consistent, full-time schedule with hours of 8:50-3:40 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 7:30-2:20 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. You’ll collaborate closely with school teams, parents, and other professionals to foster student growth and independence throughout the district.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current New Jersey Occupational Therapy license
  • New Jersey Department of Education certification required
  • Previous pediatric/school-based experience
  • Strong skills in evaluating, planning, and implementing therapy strategies in educational settings
  • Excellent communication skills with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible across multiple school sites
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with individual student plans and IEP goals
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify motor, sensory, and functional needs
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress reporting
  • Consult with teachers and families, providing resources to support carryover of skills
  • Travel between assigned schools within the district as needed
