As an Occupational Therapist in this role, you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 24 students per week, with a flexible part-time schedule (20–25 hours). Your contributions will help students reach their fullest potential academically, socially, and developmentally.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Skilled at developing and implementing IEPs
  • Comfortable working with students of varying exceptionalities
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Compassionate communicator who can motivate and encourage students
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ skills and challenges to determine appropriate interventions
  • Develop customized treatment plans focused on student goals
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services within a school environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor progress, documenting services and outcomes
  • Educate families and staff on strategies to reinforce therapy objectives across settings
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal guidelines
