Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience working with K–12 students in a school environment preferred
  • Skilled in assessments, development of individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Compassion, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload across different grade levels
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support each student’s success
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals with educational programs
  • Provide both direct and consultative occupational therapy services tailored to student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to documentation, and maintain accurate records
  • Educate school staff and families on strategies that support students in classroom and daily activities
