The schedule is part-time, with hours and exact school location to be finalized following placement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapist license or eligibility under the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act
  • Two or more years of experience in pediatric therapy, with a strong background in supporting developmental disabilities
  • Proven success delivering occupational therapy within a school or educational setting
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, including collaboration with multidisciplinary school staff and families
  • Onsite presence is required throughout the assignment (remote or hybrid/VOCO arrangements are not available)
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students requiring OT support
  • Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans within the framework of each student’s IEP
  • Work closely with teachers, support personnel, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home environment
  • Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes according to school district protocols
  • Offer training and resources to educational staff and families, empowering them with strategies to support students’ daily functioning
