Make an impact in early childhood development as an Occupational Therapist supporting infants throughout the 2026-2027 academic year! Based near Riverside, CA, this full-time opportunity spans from early August through late May, offering the chance to work closely with families and educational teams to nurture each child's unique growth.

In this role, you'll assess and address sensory, fine motor, and developmental needs, creating meaningful interventions that empower young learners to reach their fullest potential. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing essential services within a supportive school-based environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid California OT licensure (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based OT, ideally with infants or early childhood populations
  • Strong knowledge of sensory integration, early intervention principles, and individualized education planning (IEP)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
  • Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations of infants to determine developmental and sensory-motor needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals in coordination with school staff and families
  • Provide direct intervention and consultation, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to IEP development for eligible students
  • Maintain thorough documentation as required by school and professional standards
  • Serve as a resource for families, sharing strategies to extend therapy into the home environment
