Make a difference in the lives of students by providing support as a part-time Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity is based near Saint Paul, Minnesota, serving kindergarten through 8th-grade students for the full school year. You'll work on campus just two days per week, helping students reach their developmental and academic goals through your expertise and compassionate care. Weekly pay is offered for this fulfilling school-based position.

Desired Qualities and Background:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in Minnesota
  • Previous experience as a school-based OT or in a similar pediatric setting
  • Knowledge of K-8 developmental milestones and school-centered interventions
  • Comfortable collaborating with educational staff and participating in IEP meetings
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Passion for helping students maximize their independence and classroom participation
  • Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support as specified in students’ IEPs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support teams to facilitate student success
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, services delivered, and progress monitoring
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insights to student care plans
  • Adapt strategies and interventions to diverse learning environments and student abilities
