Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) certification for New Hampshire is a requirement

Previous experience working as an OT in a school environment is highly desirable

Adept at collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to adapt therapy approaches for a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to high school students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Assess students to determine therapy needs in fine motor, sensory processing, and functional life skills

Keep thorough documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with IEP teams and families

Participate in IEP meetings, serving as a valuable resource for intervention strategies and accommodation recommendations

Provide guidance to school staff on how to integrate OT-related strategies within the classroom
