Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Dakota (or eligibility to obtain)

Previous experience working with children or within educational settings is highly preferred

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to adapt to evolving student needs

Passion for fostering growth and independence in children with diverse backgrounds and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and develop targeted occupational therapy interventions

Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within classroom settings

Design and implement individualized therapy plans that help students improve academic participation, motor skills, self-care, and overall independence

Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance with all school and state requirements

Partner with families to provide guidance, share progress, and recommend strategies that generalize skills beyond the classroom

Participate actively in IEP meetings, professional development, and team initiatives
