Early Intervention Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Easton, Pennsylvania

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide Early Intervention occupational therapy services to children ages 3-5 years old in preschool and early childhood educational settings throughout Northampton and Monroe Counties, PA.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Work with preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) receiving Early Intervention services
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
  • Support the development of fine motor, sensory integration, self-care, and school readiness skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Travel between multiple early childhood centers, classrooms, and educational locations within the service area
  • Caseload Details

  • Population: Early Intervention
  • Age Group: 3 to 5 years old
  • Setting: Preschool programs, early childhood centers, and classrooms
  • Service Area: Northampton and Monroe Counties, Pennsylvania
  • Travel Required: Yes, multiple service locations throughout the assigned region
  • Qualifications

  • Current Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
  • Experience working with pediatric or Early Intervention populations preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative therapy team
  • Reliable transportation for travel between locations
