Qualifications:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license for CT and successful completion of the NBCOT exam
  • Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work with students from a range of ages and abilities
  • Reliable transportation to travel across school sites as needed
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students across Pre-K through 12th grade under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support student development and participation in educational activities
  • Document progress and maintain accurate student records
  • Collaborate effectively with educational teams, teachers, families, and other therapy professionals
  • Adapt activities and interventions to best meet diverse student needs
  • Contribute positively to an inclusive and supportive school environment
