Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity assisting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) on a contract assignment for the upcoming school year. Beginning August 13, 2026, and continuing through June 9, 2027, you'll become a supportive force at a welcoming elementary campus, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Utilize your expertise and compassion working with an elementary caseload in an onsite school-based setting. Bring your commitment to enriching students’ educational experiences by supporting their growth and functional skills development in the classroom environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid COTA license in California (required)
  • Prior school-based COTA experience is essential
  • Familiarity with elementary student needs and caseload dynamics
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for interacting with students, educators, and families
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm for making a positive impact on children’s daily lives
  • Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering direct occupational therapy assistance to students under the supervision of a licensed OT
  • Supporting individualized education plans (IEPs) through targeted interventions and activities
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to foster students’ independence and participation
  • Assisting with goal-setting, treatment sessions, and progress tracking
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting to supervising therapists
