Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Understanding of IEP documentation and therapy goal tracking
  • Comfort implementing occupational therapy interventions designed by an OTR/L
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Compassionate, patient, and positive attitude
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and activities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Support students’ development of fine motor, sensory, self-care, and classroom participation skills
  • Collect data and document student progress toward IEP goals
  • Assist with developing and tailoring therapy materials as needed
  • Engage proactively in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
  • Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy supports in the classroom
