  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff
  • Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a COTA in Georgia
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized occupational therapy interventions as directed by the supervising occupational therapist
  • Support students’ fine motor, adaptive, sensory, and self-care skill development
  • Assist in the collection of data and monitor student progress toward IEP goals
  • Document session activities and maintain accurate records as required by the school and governing agencies
  • Participate in team meetings to review student progress and recommend modifications
  • Engage in both group and one-on-one sessions to maximize student potential
  • Provide education and resources to teachers and caregivers to generalize therapy strategies
