Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) seeking to make a meaningful difference in elementary school settings! Two full-time contract positions are open, both perfect for individuals passionate about supporting young learners and collaborating within dynamic school environments.

Position One: Step into a full-year role at two elementary schools, where you'll provide coverage for two non-concurrent leaves. This assignment runs for the entire academic year and offers a consistent weekly schedule of 35+ hours. You'll have the chance to help students build important skills, working closely with occupational therapists and school staff to deliver targeted interventions and support.

Position Two: This full-time maternity leave position spans from October through April in an elementary school setting. You'll join a welcoming team dedicated to fostering student independence and academic participation, following individualized plans in partnership with other therapy and education professionals.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to implement therapy plans and document progress effectively
  • Commitment to inclusive practices and supporting diverse learners
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist occupational therapists in conducting assessments and developing intervention strategies
  • Work one-on-one or in group settings with students to address fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and team members
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP documentation as needed
  • Provide creative, student-centered interventions to promote success in and out of the classroom
