Serving the Carbon and Lehigh County areas, this contract opportunity offers up to 35 hours per week during the academic calendar, with four openings available. Qualifications:

  • Active COTA license in Pennsylvania
  • Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • School-based, pediatric, or special education experience
  • Ability to work within Carbon and Lehigh Counties
  • Available for a full school-day schedule (up to 35 hours weekly)
  • Skilled in supporting students with disabilities
  • Prepared to interview in person
  • A completed submission will require proof of active PA COTA licensure and NBCOT number, candidate’s full name and city of residence, as well as a tailored resume and a concise, bullet-pointed candidate summary
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students per individualized education plans and school guidelines
  • Collaborate with Special Education teams, teachers, and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all sessions and communication
  • Adapt therapy plans based on evolving student needs and educational goals
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions
  • Participate in meetings or professional development as required by the assignment
  • This role follows the assigned school calendar for the 2026/2027 year, and assignment location/scheduling are responsive to school needs. Comprehensive onboarding ensures readiness before the assignment begins.
