We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and support individuals in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for daily living and working. Responsibilities
• Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve independence and functional performance.
• Assist patients in developing skills necessary for daily living, self-care, and participation in school or work activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and adaptive techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records.
• Collaborate with therapists, educators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
• Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Indiana COTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for helping individuals achieve greater independence and quality of life.
