Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois OT license required
  • Experience in school-based OT preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs, MTSS, evaluations, and re-evaluations
  • Effective communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student needs
  • Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Participate in middle school teams, delivering targeted MTSS and IEP support
  • Consult with educators and teams to foster generalization of OT-supported skills
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services within school settings
  • Work onsite, 35 hours weekly, starting as soon as possible
