This full-time contract opportunity spans the entire academic year, running from August 10 through May 28, 2027. The role involves working in person across multiple school sites—primarily in Oroville, with potential service in Paradise—and is open to travel professionals interested in supporting the local community. Candidates will receive mileage reimbursement for inter-site travel, ensuring you can focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional, student-centered care.

Key qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license
  • Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Willingness to travel between sites as required (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans for students requiring occupational therapy
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote student success in academic and daily life activities
  • Work directly with students, both individually and in group settings, to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive functioning
  • Consult with educators and family members to support a holistic approach to student care
  • Complete timely and thorough documentation of therapist activities and progress
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered educational plans
