Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school settings strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of supporting students with a range of physical, developmental, and sensory needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with teachers, families, and school staff
  • Organizational ability to manage varying caseloads and age groups
  • Passion for facilitating student independence, participation, and success within the classroom setting
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to determine strengths, needs, and appropriate OT interventions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students from ages 2–15, primarily elementary-aged
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to support academic and functional outcomes
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and professional standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent consultations, and ongoing educational team planning as needed
