You will work 35 hours per week, utilizing your skills to help students overcome barriers and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with preschool-aged children, is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
  • Ability to create individualized treatment plans that address a diverse range of student needs
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
  • Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ occupational therapy needs within the school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, supporting their functional school participation
  • Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Engage with families to provide guidance and support on at-home and community strategies
