Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and valid North Carolina OT license required
  • OTR certification with school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Expertise in delivering therapy services to students in K-12 settings
  • Ability to travel between school sites in a structured weekly schedule
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
  • Passion for empowering children to develop life skills and independence
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide guidance, training, and resources to school staff and families
  • Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students within the district
  • Travel to assigned campuses within a 37.5-hour weekly schedule
