Step into a rewarding role providing occupational therapy services in an educational environment supporting students’ development and well-being. This contract position is full-time, working 40 hours per week, and is anticipated to cover a leave of absence from ASAP through December 1. You'll work collaboratively with school staff to deliver high-quality OT services that empower students to reach their potential.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
  • Experience delivering OT services in school-based settings preferred
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and educational documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varying student needs
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in a timely manner
  • Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
  • Deliver interventions that address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional school activities
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet each student’s unique strengths and challenges
