This position, located near Monument, CO, is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting students’ development and success.

Desired Qualifications:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Demonstrated experience with fine and gross motor skills development in children or adolescents

Familiarity with school-based occupational therapy practices and procedures

Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff

Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to varying caseloads

Compassionate, patient, and committed to fostering student growth

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, targeting individual goals related to fine and gross motor skill development

Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation for each student

Consult with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and home environment

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions regarding student needs and progress

Adapt therapeutic approaches as needed to align with evolving student abilities

Support the creation of engaging activities to help students improve independence and classroom participation
