Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT license (or eligibility) in Delaware
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Organized approach to documentation and progress tracking
  • Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver occupational therapy sessions (individual and group) to address IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create classroom strategies
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Adapt interventions to meet the evolving needs of students
